There are two instances at which you can set SMS Sending goals for SMS campaigns:
1. When you Send/Schedule an SMS Campaign
When you send/schedule an SMS sending, you will be prompted to set goals for the SMS sending.
Although this step is optional at the time of the sending and can be skipped using the button Skip Goal Settings, we highly recommend that you always set goals for your campaign distributions. Doing so makes your work easier when it comes to campaign performance analytics.
2. For Previously Sent SMS Campaigns
You can also set sending goals for the SMS campaigns sent in the past.
Note: When you set goals for a previously sent campaign, goal performance is evaluated using the data beginning from the moment the campaign was originally sent to the current time.
