As you create your Emails, the <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/email\/creator\/creations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emails will get listed here<\/a>. Click <strong>Create Email <\/strong>and proceed to the next step.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1447\" title=\"Create new email\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/create-new-email.png\" alt=\"Email campaign, create new email button highlighted\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 24px 0;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Step 2<\/h2>\n<h2>Name and describe your Email Campaign.<\/h2>\n<p>You can keep the default name by clicking <strong>Continue<em>,&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>but we recommend that you add an explanatory name and description for easier campaign identification in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Herein, use the fields:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong> to give your Email campaign a descriptive name<\/li>\n<li><strong>Description<\/strong> to add a relevant description for this Email campaign. It could be anything \u2013 for example, what audience this Email campaign is targeting, the occasion for which you plan to distribute this Email Campaign, or is it intended to be a part of a special campaign?This description is purely for your reference, to help you search for and identify this particular Email Campaign later. Your customers will not see this, so make it as informative as you want.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add Email to Folder<\/strong> dropdown to select the <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/a-z-guide\/folder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Folder<\/a> to which you would like to add this Email Campaign. While adding your Email Campaign to a folder is optional, we recommend using this feature if you are working with several customers or different projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you have entered the above details, click <strong>Continue<em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1448\" title=\"Give your email a name and description\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/email-design-name-description.png\" alt=\"Email campaign, create name and description. Continue button highlighted\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 24px 0;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Step 3<\/h2>\n<h2>Select a Template or Layout.<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>My Templates<\/strong> tab lists the Email campaigns that you have previously saved as templates. Since you are creating your first Email campaign, this section will appear blank. Once you start creating Email campaigns, you can save your campaign designs as templates <em>(as explained in Step 6 of this article)&nbsp;<\/em> to use as starting points for your subsequent campaign design requirements.<\/p>\n<p>For now, open the <strong>Layouts&nbsp;<\/strong>tab and select the blank template to start with an empty page, and start designing your Email campaign.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1449\" title=\"Email templates overview\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/email-design-template-layout.png\" alt=\"Email campaign, email templates overview\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 24px 0;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Step 4<\/h2>\n<h2>Design your Email Campaign.<\/h2>\n<p>(Before you start designing your Email Campaign, do check out our <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/email\/creator\/design-email\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0070ba;\">Email Campaign designing guide<\/span><\/a> for some tips and tricks on designing eye-catching Emails!)<\/p>\n<p>The area marked <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Work area<\/strong> in the screenshot below is the space where you can design your Email Campaign. Every design element you need to build your Email Campaign is available as a <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/email\/creator\/widgets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Widget<\/a> in the tools section on the right-hand side.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1450\" title=\"Email builder\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/email-creator-add-widget.png\" alt=\"Email creator, work area and widgets\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p>The right-hand side tool section has two tabs:<\/p>\n<p>1. Enter preview mode or send test email\" width=\"619\" height=\"231\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 24px 0;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Step 6<\/h2>\n<h2>Save your design as a template.<\/h2>\n<p>In case you intend to reuse this Email Campaign design in the future (with modifications or as-it-is), we recommend that you save the design as a template. Doing so will ensure that the next time you create an Email Campaign, this design is readily available under <strong>My Templates<\/strong> on the template selection screen (See step 4).<\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>Template<\/strong> and <strong>Save this design as a template<\/strong><em>(as shown in the screenshot below)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>If you wish to switch templates, you can do so by using the <strong>Switch templates<\/strong> menu option.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1456 size-full\" title=\"Email creator design templates\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/email-creator-templates.png\" alt=\"Email creator, template options. Before you can send this Email Campaign to your contacts, you&#8217;ll need to activate it using the <strong>Activate<\/strong> button<em>&nbsp;(as highlighted in the screenshot below)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1458\" title=\"Activate email campaign\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/email-campaign-activate.png\" alt=\"Email creator, email status. Activate button highlighted\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p>Follow the instructions by selecting an <strong>Activation&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Time<\/strong>, a <strong>Closing Time<em>,<\/em><\/strong> and a <strong>Watermark Text<em>,<\/em><\/strong> and then remove the watermark by clicking <strong>Remove Watermark<em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And just like that, you have successfully created your first Email Campaign in Mainbrainer that is ready to be <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/email\/send-email\/how-send-email-campaign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sent to your audience<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to play around with our Email creator widgets and keep designing and sending engaging Email Campaigns that capture your audience&#8217;s attention!<\/p>\n<p>Also, it&#8217;s not always necessary to create Email Campaigns from scratch.
