SMS highlighted\" width=\"488\" height=\"634\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p>As you click <strong>SMS<\/strong>, you\u2019ll need to enter a name and description for this sending in the subsequent screen. Enter a relevant name and description, something that will make the identification easier in the future. Create list button highlighted\" width=\"531\" height=\"494\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p>The area highlighted in the screenshot above displays a list of all your <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/a-z-guide\/contact-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contact lists<\/a>. Use it to select the <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/a-z-guide\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contacts<\/a> you would like to send the campaign to. Herein,<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Use the checkboxes under the <strong>Action<\/strong> tab to select the contact lists to which you wish to send the campaign.<\/li>\n<li>If you would like to <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/crm\/manage\/create-contact-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">create a new list<\/a> with a different set of contacts, you can do so by clicking the <strong>Create List<\/strong> button in the top right corner of the highlighted area.<\/li>\n<li>If you would like to add the recipients manually, click <strong>Add Recipients Manually<\/strong>.\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1501 size-full\" title=\"SMS add recipients manually button\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sms-sending-manually-button.png\" alt=\"SMS campaign, SMS recipients. Search CRM option \" width=\"577\" height=\"592\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p>In this section, use the fields:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li><strong>Search&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>CRM<\/strong> to search the CRM for a contact that already exists in the CRM. You can search for the intended contact by entering either the name or the mobile number in the search field. Select the intended contact from the dropdown.<\/li>\n<li>If you need to add contacts manually, first make sure you have the contacts&#8217; SMS opt-in consent and then check the <strong>I Agree<\/strong> checkbox.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Select Country<\/strong> to choose the country where the recipient\u2019s mobile number is registered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mobile Number<\/strong> to enter the mobile number of the intended recipient, and click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recipients<\/strong> to view the list of manually added recipients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"elevio-box-info\"><p><strong>Note<\/strong>: All the contacts added here manually will also be added to the CRM with their SMS status as Opted-in.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"elevio-box-info\"><p><strong>Suggested Reading:&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/a-z-guide\/single-opt-in-signups\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Single Opt-in Signups<\/a> and <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/a-z-guide\/double-opt-in-signups\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Double Opt-in Signups<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Step 3<\/h2>\n<h2>Type in Your SMS Content<\/h2>\n<p>Use the area shown in the screenshot below to enter the SMS content and sender details:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1503 size-full\" title=\"SMS content sending\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sms-sending-content.png\" alt=\"SMS campaign, SMS editor. Select sender name, SMS content and SMS text\" width=\"543\" height=\"563\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p>In this section, use the fields:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li><strong>Sender name<\/strong> to select the Sender Name for this campaign sending. This name helps the SMS recipients identify who the sender of the SMS is. Use the option <strong>Create New<\/strong> from the dropdown menu to create a new sender name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SMS Content<\/strong> to select the type of content that you want to send in this sending.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SMS Text<\/strong> to enter your text.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the subsequent fields as you type-in\/select the SMS content a <strong>Preview<\/strong> area opens on the right side <em>(As highlighted in the screenshot below).<\/em> This area displays the SMS as it will appear in your recipients\u2019 inbox.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1504\" title=\"SMS sending preview\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sms-sending-preview.png\" alt=\"SMS campaign, SMS editor. SMS preview\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>\n<h4>Merge Codes<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A list of available merge codes is displayed on the right side <em>(visible under the <strong>Preview SMS<\/strong> section as shown in the screenshot above).&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1506 size-full\" title=\"SMS sending personalization\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sms-sending-personalization.png\" alt=\"SMS campaign, SMS editor personalization options. Merge codes for CRM data\" width=\"408\" height=\"451\"><\/em><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 20px;\">Merge codes allow you to add dynamic content to your <strong>SMS Text<\/strong>. Drag and drop the required merge code(s) into the <strong>SMS Text<\/strong> field as required. The merge codes will get dynamically replaced by the corresponding CRM data at the time of SMS sending.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"elevio-box-info\"><p><strong>Note<\/strong>: The list of available merge codes depends on the list of SMS recipients chosen in Step 2. Only the merge Codes corresponding to the common data fields of these lists would be available for use.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>\n<h4>Add Unsubscribe<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click <strong>Add<\/strong> if you wish to add an unsubscribe option to your SMS. In the menu that subsequently opens <em>(see screenshot below)<\/em>, specify if you would like to <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/a-z-guide\/sms-email-unsubscribe-template\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">add the link to an unsubscribe<\/a> form or if you would like to add an Unsubscribe keyword and shortcode to the text.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1507 size-full\" title=\"SMS sending unsubscribe options\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sms-sending-unsubscribe-option.png\" alt=\"SMS campaign, SMS editor unsubscribe options. Send now or schedule SMS sending\" width=\"524\" height=\"1127\"><\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p>Use this section to specify if you would like to:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>send your SMSs immediately, or<\/li>\n<li>schedule your SMS sending for a later time\/date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Step 5<\/h2>\n<h2>Set Goals For SMS Sending<\/h2>\n<p>In case you would like to specify the desired end goal for this SMS Sending, click <strong>Set Your Goals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1509 size-full\" title=\"SMS distribution set your goals\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sms-distribution-set-goals.png\" alt=\"SMS campaign, set your campaign goals. You can <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/sms\/sms-goals\/how-to-set-goals-sending-sms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">set sending goals either at the time of SMS Sending<\/a>, or <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/sms\/sms-goals\/how-to-set-sms-sending-goals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">set goals at any later time<\/a>. Doing so makes your work easier when it comes to campaign performance analytics. Just a glance at our insights section helps you see which <a href=\"\/hc\/en_GB\/sms\/performance-insights\/how-to-sms-goal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sendings met their intended goals<\/a> and which ones didn\u2019t.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Step 6<\/h2>\n<h2>Send Your SMS Campaign<\/h2>\n<p>The subsequent screen displays the summary of your SMS campaign along with a preview of how the associated landing page would appear on a mobile screen.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 14px 0;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1511\" title=\"SMS campaign summary page\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mainbrainer.com\/hc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/sms-distribution-summary-page.png\" alt=\"SMS sending summary. Once you are sure, click <strong>Send SMS<\/strong> to send out the campaign!<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"elevio-box-warning\"><p><strong>Note<\/strong>: In case you attempt to send more SMSs than are permitted in your subscription plan, and you have insufficient funds in your account to pay for the additional SMSs, the sending will not be executed.
